Windows XP Dark Edition
Windows XP Dark Edition Version is made or rather modified by someone from Thailand with the initials "Catalogk" (Try checking the properties menu. Where there was written By Catalogk, small, in the lower right corner). For the newest version is version 7,but i will reviews about version 6.
Although there are elements of XP name in it's, but the XP Dark Edition version is usually slightly different with XP. Okay here are some significant differences from both:
1. Skin / Theme that is used. Used similar themes in Windows Vista, but it is more attractive than Vista because the dark theme looks cool.So, who want to try Windows Vista but the hardware specifications is low,you can taste fit Aero theme with XP Dark Edition.

2. Menu at Start Up. When the Start Up, Dark Edition has 3 main menu, like:
a. Setup Windows Dark Edition v6
This menu is selected if you want to install Windows XP Dark Edition
b. Boot from Hard Disk
Same with the name, the menu to boot from the hard disk
c. Boot Function
Includes many tools to boot, such as: Wipe CMOS Clear, Win98 boot disk, Win ME boot disk, Norton Ghost, Partition Magic, NTLDR fixer, etc..
You can select the menu above by clicking on one of the menu using the mouse or may be by pressing the F1-F12 appropriate for each menu.

3. Options are many types of installation. When the main menu we select the Windows Setup Dark Edition v.6, 7 will display the type of installation option of Windows XP Dark Edition. The explanation is as follows :
a. Original Version. Used to install XP Dark Edition with a base system, which is a standard system. Additional drivers will not come installed.
b. SATA / RAID Driver Version. Drivers for SATA / RAID will also be included in the installation.
c. All Driver (wthout SATA / RAID Driver) Version. Drivers are usually not in the regular version of XP, will come installed, except the drivers for SATA / RAID).
d. All Driver Version. All drivers will be installed.
e. Full Option Version. XP Dark Edition will be installed in full, in addition to drivers, will be installed also tools to diagnose hardware, such as: CPUz, GPUz, etc..
f. Repair Version. Just as the repair feature on a regular XP installation.
g.Repair Version (SATA / RAID drivers). Used to repair the previous installation, equipped with SATA / RAID drivers.
